Joseph Ludovissy, 45, a farmer living near Turkey River, died at Mercy Hospital Saturday morning at 2:08 o'clock after an illness of three months. The body is at the farm home one mile east of Turkey River, from where the funeral will be held at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning to the Immaculate Conception Church at North Buena Vista at 9:30 o'clock.
Mr. Ludovissy was born Feb. 15, 1893, in Dubuque, and on August 3, 1915, married Theresa Welty.
Surviving with his wife are five sons, Joseph, Jr., Turkey River, Celestine, McGregor, and Francis, Clarence and Walter, at home; one daughter, Mary Margaret, at home; five brothers, Nick, Lee and Clem, Turkey River, and Henry and John, North Buena Vista; and four sisters, Mrs. Kate Thorp, Waterloo, Mrs. John Hafel, Turkey River, and Mrs. Paul Gartner and Mrs. Emmett Thorp, Dubuque. He was preceded in death by one son, Henry.

Didesch Funeral Home - Joseph Ludovissy, Turkey River, Ia, passed away at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Dubuque, Ia., Saturday morning, December 31st, 1938, at 2:08 o'clock. The body may be viewed at the family residence, one mile east of Turkey River, Ia., from where the funeral will be held Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. and proceed to the Immaculate Conception Church at North Buena Vista, Ia., mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be made in Immaculate Conception Cemetery at North Buena Vista.
