Elgin Echo, Thur., 5 Nov. 1903.

Raymond Lundt, a three year old child, was fatally burned while visiting his grandparents in Elkader a week ago Sunday. In company with their thirteen year old uncle, he and his little sister built a fire in an old cook stove which stood in the yard to play housekeeping. In some manner Raymond's dress caught fire and the child was so frightfully burned that death resulted.
