Strawberry Point, Ia. - Funeral services for Irvin Easton, 34, were held here Wednesday afternoon at the Congregational Church with the Rev. Vernon Benson, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Strawberry Point Cemetery.
Mr. Easton, who was employed for several years by the John Deere Company in Waterloo, died Monday at his home in Waterloo.
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Easton and was born Feb. 18, 1909, on a farm northeast of Strawberry Point. He was married to Avelia Fest at Coggon, who survives with two children, Darlene and Donald, both at home; his parents; two brothers, Lloyd of Edgewood and Lauren at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Gage of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Art Weger of Strawberry Point and Evelyn at home.
