Strawberry Point - Miss Rose Miller, 80, died Friday in the Good Samaritan Home in Arthur, N.D., where she has been the past 19 years. Daughter of Henry and Rosina Miller, she was born in April, 1866 near Jubilee, Ia. For many years she was a seamstress in Strawberry Point.

Funeral services were conducted in Emmanuel Lutheran church here Sunday afternoon by Rev. August Hoeger of Arthur, N.D., assisted by Rev. S.J. Meyer. Music was furnished by Mrs. S. J. Meyer and Mrs. Adolph Schuchman, accompanied by Mrs. John Gerdes. Casket bearers were Louie Fredrick, Walter Fredrick, Con Kleinlein, Otto Weger, O.H.J. Feulner and Will Burrack. Burial was at St. Sebald.
