Guttenberg, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. J.R. Curran, 60, former Guttenberg resident, were held here Friday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theo. Frese officiating. Burial was in the City Cemetery. Mrs. Curran died Monday at her home in Lynnhaven, Va., following a long illness.
She was the former Selma Weseman and was born here April 5, 1883, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Weseman. She was married in April, 1910, to Mr. Curran and they lived here until two years ago when they moved to Lynnhaven.
Surviving are her husband; four sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Woock of Guttenberg, Mrs. Emma Blunk and Martha Weseman, both of Garnavillo; and Mrs. Truman Prouty of Marquette. Three sisters and six brothers preceded her in death.
