Dubuque - Anna M. Vogel, 70, of 1698 North Algona Sreet, wife of John Vogel, died at the family home Wednesday morning after an illness of nine weeks. The body is at the Huebsch Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon Thursday. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Vogel was born in Clayton County on Dec. 5, 1872. She has resided in Dubuque since she was 18 years of age. She married John Vogel 51 years ago. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Lester (Clara) Tepley; one son, Harry Vogel; one brother, Jacob Preitauer; one sister, Mrs. Frank (Julia) Sitterly; and two grandchildren, all of Dubuque; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
