Manchester, Ia. - Mrs. J.H. Crane, 45, died at her home on west Butler Street here Monday morning, following a brief illness of pneumonia and complications. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Church here, the hour pending word from two sons in the service. Friends may call the Platt Funeral Home here for particulars. Burial will be made at Greeley.

Anna Malary was born at Elkader, Ia., July 19, 1898, grew to young womanhood, and received her education there. She was married to J.H. Crane Oct. 18, 1922, and their home was made at Worthing, S.D., for a time. The family later returned to Delaware County and had resided in Greeley, Earlville, Ryan, and other places in this locality prior to coming to Manchester.

Surviving Mrs. Crane are her husband; seven children, Raymond, who has been in the Naval service for over two years and who is home on leave; Leonard, in Naval service, who returned to duty last week after a brief visit at home; Edwin, also in the Navy; Delores, Kathleen, Geraldine, and Robert, all at home; her mother, Mrs. John Malary, of Elkader; seven sisters, Mrs. Jessie Crane, of Edgewood; Sister Alphonsus, of Dubuque; Mrs. Frank Farrell, of Elkader; Mrs. Emery Nuss, of Manchester; Mrs. McKinley Gage, of Wadena; Mrs. George Mackley, of Clear Lake, and Mrs. J.F. Quinlan, of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, P.J. Mallary, of Independence and John Malary, of Clear Lake; an aunt, Mrs. Bridget Donohue, of Elkader; and several nieces and nephews.
