Sloan, Estella 'Stella' (Oldfather) 1875-1944

SLOAN, OLDFATHER

Volga City, Ia. - Mrs. Jesse Sloan, 68, died Tuesday evening at her home here, following a lingering illness. She was born Aug. 13, 1875.

Surviving are her husband and one son, Leroy, of Volga; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Beulah) Oldfather, of Arlington, Ia., and Miss Marie Sloan, of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren, Betty, Ruth, Joyce and Raymond Oldfather, and Donna and Doris Sloan.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. D.V Butler, in charge. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Volga City.
