Guttenberg, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Tuecke, 87, widow of John H. Tuecke, who died last Friday evening following a short illness, were held at St. John's Lutheran Church, in charge of the Rev. W.J.F. Adix, pastor. Burial was in the City Cemetery.
Born Nov. 28, 1852, in Westphalia, Germany, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Pohle. She came to this country when a year old, the family settling in Clayton County. On June 3, 1870, she was married to John H. Tuecke at the Ceres Church. Mr. Tuecke died Feb. 10, 1920.
She is survived by two sons, John of Sheffield and Ed of Garnavillo; a dauhger, Mrs. Nellie Mintzlaff of Arlington; two brothers, August Pohle of Bagley, Wis., and Louis of Bloomington, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Wiegman of Mason City; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren.
