Elgin Echo, Thur., 15 July 1909.

Olavus Johnson, one of the prosperous farmers of Wagner township, Clayton county, died Sunday, July 11, after a short illness from typhoid fever. He was a young man and his passing was a shock to the community in which he lived. Funeral rites were held at the Norway church Tuesday and interment made in the cemetery there.
