Strawberry Point, Ia. - Funeral services for Frank Alderson, 59, were held here Sunday afternoon at the home with burial in the Strawberry Point Cemetery. Mr. Alderson died suddenly at his home here Friday afternoon when he was stricken with a heart attack while working in his garden.

He was born here April 20, 1861, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Alderson. On Feb. 15, 1905 he was married to Mayme Wesley of Lamont and they farmed in this vicinity until 1937 when they moved to town.

He was a member of the Modern Woodmen and Masonic lodges.

Surviving are his widow; one son, Marcey of Oelwein; four sisters, Mrs. Tom Hanson of Dubuque, Mrs. Arch Baker of Fayette, Mrs. Minnie Johnson of Los Angeles, and Mrs. George Edmonds of Dundee; and two brothers, James of Strawberry Point and Richard of Dundee.
