Marquette, Ia. - Mrs. J.A. Hervison, 78, well-known Marquette resident, died suddenly Tuesday night at her summer home on Ridgewood, death being attributed to a heart attack. Funeral arrangements had not been completed Wednesday.

Marquette, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. J.A. Hervison, 78, who died early Wednesday following a heart attack, will be held at the Methodist Church here at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, according to arrangements completed Thursday. The Rev. Glen McMichael, pastor, will be in charge and burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery at McGregor.

Mrs. Hervison was born Julia Carey at Waukon on June 10, 1862, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Carey. Following her marriage to James A. Hervison, she lived a short time at Decorah before coming to Marquette 55 years ago. Mr. Hervison was in the general merchandise business here many years. After his retirement, they built a home on Ridgewood, local summer colony, where they spent much of their time. Mr. Hervison died seven years ago. Since that time Mrs. Hervison spent her summers on Ridgewood and divided her winters between the homes of her two daughters, Mrs. Richard Fleming of Harrison, N.Y. and Mrs. Frank Morgan of Dubuque.

She is survived by her two daughters, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
