Elkader, Ia. - Ole Weymouth, 80, farmer living near here, died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock at his home following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the McTaggart-Haudenshield Funeral Home here with the Rev. E.L. Stuempsig, pastor of the Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family's private cemetery here.
Mr. Weymouth was born on a farm near St. Croix Falls, Wis. on July 31, 1859, but most of his life was spent on a farm near here. Surviving are his widow, one son, Calvin; two daughters, Mrs. Ina Reierson, all at home, and Mrs. Esther Nelson of Owatonna, Minn. A son, Leo, preceded him in death.

Departed this life on May 27, 1940, at the residence near Elkader, Ia., Ole Weymouth, beloved husband of Mrs. Anna Weymouth; beloved father of Mrs. Ina Reierson and Calvin Weymouth of Elkader, Ia., Mrs. Esther Nelson of Owatonna, Minn. In his 81st year. The body is resting at the McTaggart-Haudenshield Funeral Home in Elkader from where the funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. E.L. Stuempsig, pastor of the Elkader Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial in the family private cemetery* near Elkader, Ia.
