Grimsgaar, Christian Olson 1816 - 1906

Elgin Echo, Thur., 24 May 1906.

Christian Olson Grimsgoard, who resided near Gunder, died May 17, at the advanced age of 89 years. The funeral was held last Friday and interment made in the Marion cemetery. The six persons, who conveyed the body to it's last resting place, were grandsons, and a large number of relatives and friends are left to mourn the taking away of a friend and advisor.

NOTE: The article spelled the surname as Grimsgoard, but WPA records show Christian O. Grimsgaar 1816 / 05-17-1906, buried in Marion cemetery.
