Elgin Echo, Thursday, 25 April 1895. Under Highland.

The funeral services of Mrs. James Probert, of the Scotch settlement, who died Saturday, occurred the day following at the Union church and was attended by a large number of friends and neighbors.

Mrs. James Probert died at her home in Highland Friday, April 19, aged 35 years. She leaves a husband and three little ones to mourn for her, who will miss the loving care and ministry of a devoted wife and mother. She was the daughter of Mr. Walters, of Wadena. A large circle of friends are grief stricken.
