Postville Herald, Thursday, 30 March 1922.

On last Thursday afternoon, March 16th, Hiram Tomkins ended his life by hanging himself in a barn at his home in Mallory township, says the Guttenberg Press. Mr. Tomkins had been in poor health for some time and it is thought that that was the cause for the rash act.
