Volga City, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Jennie Daggett, 79, lifetime resident of Volga City, who died Friday, were held from the Bellis Funeral home, Fayette, Ia., to the Blake & Gill Funeral home, Volga City, Sunday afternoon. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery, Volga City. Mrs. Daggett died en route from Fayette to Iowa City, where she was being taken to be treated for pneumonia. She went to Fayette in October to live with the Phil Conner family during the fall and winter. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Her husband, Gene Daggett, died a number of years ago.
