ELLENBOLT, POPACEK, PETERSON, PETTIT, CARDIN, TAYEK, HAUGAN

McGregor, Ia. - Services for Peter Retus Ellenbolt, 63, McGregor farmer, who died at his home of a heart attack on Saturday, were held Tuesday at the Swede Ridge church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. O.R. Haugstand, was the minister.

Mr. Ellenbolt was born at Elkader on July 22, 1882, the second son of Retus and Mary Ellenbolt. On Jan. 2, 1906, he married Emma Popacek. They have lived on a farm south of McGregor since their marriage.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Thomas and George, of McGregor; three daughters, Mrs. Tifred Peterson and Mrs. Earl Pettit, of McGregor, and Mrs. Miles Cardin, Marquette; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Tayek, Monona, and Mrs. Milbert Haugan, Marquette; and two brothers, Fred Ellenbolt, Blue River, Wis., and Ray Ellenbolt, Green Bay, Wis.
