Guttenberg Press, and re-printed in the Postville Herald, Thursday, 14 April 1921.

Miss Anna Eckle of Monona, who had been visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Kate Schloetzer, in Guttenberg for several days, ended her life on Saturday morning, April 2nd, at the Schloetzer home by taking a small quantity of strychnine. Miss Eckle had been in poor health for some time, which was probably the cause for the rash act. She was found soon after she had taken the strychnine and medical aid was called for at once, but it was to late, and she passed away in a short time.- Guttenberg Press.
