Postville Herald, Friday, 26 July 1918.

At the home of her son, William, in St. Olaf on Tuesday evening, Mrs. Carolena Ernstine Dorothea Knuth, nee Heiden, passed peacefully away. She was born January 13, 1834, in Priemen, Germany, was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was married June 14, 1859, in Germany to Carl Knuth. In 1872 they left Germany and came to this country and lived in Chicago for five...(remainder missing).
