Donna Mae Southwick was born March 18, 1936, on the family farm near McGregor, Iowa, daughter of Ewald and Myrtle (Brown) Meyer. She died Saturday, July 24, 1999, at the Guttenberg (Iowa) Municipal Hospital after a sudden illness.

Donna received her education locally, and worked as a homemaker for many years. On September 24, 1955, she was united in marriage with Ronald Southwick in Dundee, Iowa.

Survivors include four sons, Duane (Doreen) Southwick of Elkader, Iowa, Roger, Curtis and Daniel Southwick all of McGregor, Iowa; her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Fields of Abingdon, IL; one granddaughter, Jackie; one great grandson, Alex; one sister, Mrs. Janie (Bill) McMahon of Farley, Iowa; three brothers, Mr. Allen (Helen) Meyer of Abingdon, IL, Mr. Leon (Joanie) Meyer of Westby, Wisconsin and Mr. Robert (Judy) Meyer of St. Olaf, Iowa; two half sisters, Mrs. Jeannie Horton of Knoxville, IL and Mrs. DiAnne Wynne of Galesburg, IL; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, husband, and one sister, Dorothy.
