Dubuque, Ia. - Mrs. Alois Kohler, 66, of Monona, Ia., died at Mercy hospital here Friday afternoon at 5:55. The body has been transferred from the Didesch funeral home for funeral services and burial.

Monona, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Alois Kohler, 66, who died in a Dubuque hospital Friday, after a long illness, were held at the Schultz funeral home here Monday morning. The Rev. R.C. Jerrell, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. Burial was in City cemetery.Mrs. Kohler, the former Louisa Schneckenberger, was born in Germany on April 14, 1879, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schneckenberger. She came to the United States with her parents when she was seven, and they lived in the vicinity of Giard and National, Ia., for a number of years. She was married to Alois Kohler in 1899, and they settled on a farm near Monona, where they lived until they retired to Monona in 1923.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Irving; and a sister, Mrs. John Stoeffler. She was preceded by her parents, a sister, and a brother.
