Postville Review, Nov. 1898.

DIED- At her home in Marion township, on Sunday, Nov. 14th, 1898, Mary, wife of Henry Knodt, aged 32 years and 11 months.

The disease from which Mrs. Knodt died was consumption, brought on by an attack of grip some two years ago. She leaves three children, the youngest being 11 or 12 years old. She was an Eggert, a sister of Henry and Emma Eggert and Mrs. Wm. Weihe. The funeral was held on Tuesday from the German Lutheran church, and was one of the largest ever held here. The Workmen were ot in large numbers. The flower display was large and elegant. The mourners have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
