Mary Lou Kurth, McGregor, Iowa, April 8, 2013

Mary Lou Kurth, 75, McGregor, Iowa died Monday, April 8, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

She was born on December 16, 1937 to Floyd and Ethel (Limbeck) Huff in McGregor, Iowa. Mary graduated from Mar-Mac High School.

Mary was united in marriage with Milton “Mick” Kurth on November 30, 1957. She worked at McGregor Electronics for many years and White Springs Supper Club. She was a cat lover, enjoyed playing cards and computer games, cooking, crocheting, fishing with her husband, attending the Minnesota State Fair and spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Lorri (Curtis) Anderson of Champlin, Minnesota and Karen Kurth of Ramsey, Minnesota; her sisters, Barbara Schultz of McGregor, Beverly Huff of Ohio, Judy Kuchenbecker of McGregor and Terri Kleinow of Harpers Ferry.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, McGregor, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in McGregor, Iowa with Pastor William Gentry as the officiant.

Burial will follow services at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor, Iowa.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, McGregor, Iowa is helping the family with the arrangements.
