Helen D. Doerring, 86, died Monday, June 14, 1999, in the Good Samaritan Center, Postville, after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, St. John Lutheran Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, where a prayer service begins at 7 p.m.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond of Monona and Robert of Newton; four daughters, Joanne Kramer of Manchester, Edythe Scheidt of Cedar Rapids, Nancy Beguin of Onalaska, Wis., and Syliva Williams of Waverly; and a brother Harlin Miller of Monona. Also surviving are 12 grand-children and eight great-grandchildren.
