Velma M. Moritz, 78, died Sunday, March 29, 1998, in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis., from complications of a heart attack. Services 2 p.m. Wednesday, St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial: Monona City cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Ann Berger of Waukon; a son, Gary of Monona; and a brother, Earl Evans of Moline, Ill.
