KILLED IN GASOLINE TANK EXPLOSION.
McGregor, Iowa, Jan. 13th - John Hagensick of North McGregor, who suffered a badly crushed leg and severe burns about the body when a gasoline tank exploded in North McGregor Saturday, died at a hospital here Sunday afternoon. Hagensick was the most seriously injured of the three men who were near the tank at the time of the accident. The other two men are expected to recover. The accident occurred when a mechanic applied a torch to the tank, which is said to have been empty, and which he was repairing. Hagensick was the town assessor and had only one leg.
