Lewis Hansel 1898-1970

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Tuecke funeral chapel here for Lewis L. Hansel 72 who died December 9, 1970 following a period of poor health. Death occurred at the home of a brother Howard near Colesburg, Ia.

The services were conducted by Rev. Albert Best, pastor of the Guttenberg Methodist Church, and burial was in the Bethel cemetery near Osterdock. Pallbearers were Parnell Fredelake, Andy Moser, Earl Herzog and Elmer Radabaugh.

Mr. Hansel was born November 11, 1898 at Osterdock the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hansel. He never married.

Surviving Mr. Hansel are two brothers, Howard of Colesburg, and John of Rockford, Illinois; and one sister Mrs. Sam Stewart of Garber.
