Otto Hansel 1888-1968

Otto Strother Hansel, retired Edgewood farmer died at the Delaware County Memorial hospital Sunday, Sept. 29, 1968.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 1, from the Appleton funeral home to the Congregational church with the Rev. Clarence Gillett officiating. Burial was made in the Hansel Cemetery.

He was born April 9, 1888 at Garber, a son of Strother and Sophima Wolf Hansel. He was married to Grace Palmer Dec. 20, 1911 at Osterdock, Ia.

He is survived by two sons, Warren of Edgewood and Ishmael of Strewberry Point; five grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hansel was preceded in death by his wife May 22, 1963, his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
