Bradley J. Meisner
Funeral services were held for Bradley Meisner on Monday, February 23, 1970, at 1:30 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home in Postville, with Mr. William Freeland of Richland Center, Wisconsin, conducting the service. Burial was in the Wadena Cemetery.
Bradley Joseph Meisner, son of Francis and Mary Meisner, was born at Postville, Iowa on December 28, 1935. He died at the Community Memorial Hospital, Postville, Iowa on February 21, 1970.
He attended rural school in Grand Meadow Township and then Postville High School for three years. At the age of 15, he was stricken with polio which left him handicapped in his arms and respiratory system.
Bradley was not married. He lived at home with is parents and helped them on the farm. His greatest ambition was to help "dad" with the farming, which he did with great interest and enjoyment.
He is survived by his mother and father; a brother Ron and his sister-in-law, Judy; a sister, Beverly (Mrs. Roland McNally); maternal grandmother, Mrs. Eva Davis of Fayette; 2 nieces and 3 nephews, also many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, his maternal grandfather, and an infant nephew.
