Postville Review, Sat., 7 Feb. 1880.

August Elbling, the oldest son of John Elbling, of McGregor, was drowned while crossing the Mississippi river on skates last Sunday evening. His body was recovered on Monday morning and the funeral took place on Wednesday, some of our people going down to attend it. Young Mr. Elbling was 20 years old and is very well spoken of.
