THE SICKLE KEEN - Once Familiar faces will be seen no more

At her home in Mendon Twp, on January 17, 1899, Katherine Regal wife of Benjamin Regal aged 42 yrs, 1 month, 23 days.

Deceased was born in Altenburg Hungary, Nov. 24, 1856. She came to this country June 16, 1875, settling in this county where she has remained ever since.

About one year ago she had a severe stroke of paralysis from which she never recovered and which, together with other ailments hurried her to a premature death. She had been a long and
patient sufferer and though there were many ties to bind her to this world at least for some time yet, her condition was such as to make her transition from this world to a better one less painful. She leaves a grief stricken husband and eight children who will miss her many kind
acts and tender solicitude. Their only comfort is the thought that her faithful spirit, now glorified in the realms of bliss is still hovering about her dear ones, encouraging and strengthening them in their sad bereavement.
