THOMSEN, STOECKER, KEEHNER

Peter H. Thomsen was born on November 6, 1831, in Schlesswig, Holstein, (sic) Germany. In 1861
he was married to Miss Martha Stoecker. Two children were born to them, one died in infancy. The family came to American in 1870, and settled on a farm in this vicinity where they lived for 17 years. Since then they have made their home in Garnavillo. Last year on January 29 occurred the death of Mrs. Thomsen. Since then Mr. Thomsen has been living at the home of his daughter Mrs. G. L.
Keehner, where he died Wednesday evening, January 8, 1913. Funeral services were held January
11 at St. Paul’s Lutheran, Rev. Braun officiating. Deceased is mourned by a daughter, Mrs. G. L. Keehner, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
