Henry Heichen (sic), of Farmersburg, a blacksmith by trade, committed suicide by taking laudanum
on last Tuesday evening and died about 3 o’clock. It is thought that he had a fit of temporary insanity brought about by family troubles. He threatened to kill his wife if she called any one to prevent him from committing the act. He was 45 years of age and leaves a wife and six children.
