FORMER RESIDENT
DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Thomas F. Warner, a former Osage business man, died on March 25, 1949, in Palo Alto, Calif. Mr. Warner operated a collection agency in Osage for a number of years and also practiced law here before moving to Twin Falls, Idaho, in 1908.

The following obituary appeared in the Twin Falls Times-News Sunday, March 27, 1949.

Thomas F. Warner, 78, pioneer banker and lawyer in Twin Falls died Friday in Palo Alto, Calif., where he and Mrs. Warner were spending the winter.

He came to Twin Falls in 1908 from Osage, Iowa, to engage in the banking business. He was active in law, banking and the loan business here until forced to retire because of failing health.

Born in September 1870, at Luana, Clayton county, Iowa, he graduated from Upper Iowa University and the University of Iowa.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Eda M. Warner; two daughters, Mrs. Wilber W. Bolton, Palo Alto, Calif., and Harriet J. Warner, Corvallis, Oregon; one son, Tomas F. Warner, Jr., San Francisco, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Alice L. Ballou, Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, L.A. Warner, Twin Falls; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Irene Warner, and two infant sons preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the White Mortuary chapel.
