Postville Review, Sat., 19 Jan. 1878.

BETTYS -- At his residence in Postville, Jan. 14, 1878, of neuralgia of the heart, B. Bettys, in the 68th year of his age. Obituary next week.

Note: There was no obit the following week, but an item the next week gave his cause of death as organic disease of the heart. He is buried in Grand Meadow cemetery & those records indicate his full name is Benjamin Bettys.

Submitter is not related.
