Mrs. Henry Lembke, living near St. Olaf, committed suicide yesterday afternoon by shooting herself in the breast with a shotgun. Dr. W. A. Miller of this place was promptly summoned, but she died before he coukd reach her. It is thought that she was temporarily insane as she has seemed depressed since the death of her father a few months ago.-- Elkader Register.

Mrs. Henry Lembke, living near St. Olaf, committed suicide yesterday afternoon by shooting herself in the breast with a shotgun. Dr. W. A. Miller of this place was promptly summoned but she died before he could reach her. It is thought that she was temporarily insane as she has seemed depressed since the death of her father a few months ago.
She was a daughter of the late Wm. Best and leaves a husband, two small children and three sisters, Mrs. H. H. Diers; Mrs. Henry Huebner; Mrs. A. Englehardt; and two brothers, Charles and Emil Best.
