Frank Thomas Stiles, 83, died at his home, 200 S.E. Grand Blvd., about 2 o'clock this morning after several months of failing health.

The deceased was born in McGregor, Iowa, on October 6, 1860. He was married to Orpha Gleason on Dec. 20, 1883, and they had one son, Jason Phillip, of Washington, D.C., who was born on Dec. 25, 1884. Mrs. Orpha Stiles died on Sept. 15, 1915 and on June 8, 1922, he married Mattie A. Lyman, who survives.

Mr. Stiles farmed in Iowa for many years and came to Corona in 1922.

In addition to his wife, Mrs. Mattie Stiles in Corona, and his son, J.P. Stiles in Washinton, D.C., he is survived by a step-son, Harry Lyman of Corona and a step-daughter, Mrs. Lula Watson of Norco.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Hoover and Bell chapel with Rev. Daniel Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyslope cemetery.
