Cletus L. Saeugling

Funeral services were held for Cletus L. Saeugling, 83, Guttenberg, Thursday, April 23, 1992, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg. Father Paul Peters officiated the service with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Guttenberg. Honorary pallbearers were Brenda Gibbs and Maurene Freiburger. Pallbearers were Eldon Vorwald, Bill Vogt, Ron Thein, Gene Tujetsch, Ray Martin, Jim Jacobs and Clem Demuth.

Cletus L. Saeugling was born December 2, 1908, in Guttenberg, the son of Henry and Christine (Roth) Saeugling. He served in the Army during WW2. He was employed with the U. S. Post Office for 56 years. He died April 21, 1992, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mildred LaDage of Guttenberg, Lucille South, Edina, Minn.; and three brothers Arthur of Minneapolis, Dennis of Iowa City and Dean of St. Louis Park, Minn.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister Irene Cherrier, and three brothers, Clarence, Eldon and Kenny.
