MRS. JOHN H. (Carrie Meyer) MEYER

Mrs. Carrie Meyer, Garnavillo, passed away at her home on Dec. 9, 1978, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Tues., Dec. 12, 1978 at 11 a. m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garnavillo. Rev. L. C. Urlaub officiated. Pallbearers were Gerhard Kaiser, Arnold Larson, Kenneth Breitsprecher, Lloyd Kaiser, Dean Meyer, and Gerald Meyer. Burial was in the Garnavillo City Cemetery.

Carrie Meyer, daughter of Carl Meyer and Elise Wilruth, was born Dec. 10, 1882 in Garnavillo Township. She was married to John H. Meyer on June 8, 1904 in Garnavillo. John preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1971.

Survivors include one son, Louis C. Meyer of Garnavillo; and two daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Laverne) Roggman and Miss Marilyn Meyer, both of Garnavillo.
