Charles L. Beucher
Charles L. Beucher was born Sept. 13, 1915 in Postville, Iowa, to parents Leo O. and Anna (Cole) Beucher. He died Jan. 6, 1993 at a local Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was 77.
On May 12, 1941 he married Jamaine Eggers in Farmersburg, Iowa. Charles worked at Citizen's State Bank in Postville from 1937-1941, and was an instructor for Army Air Corps during World War II. For the past 30 years he worked as a TWA Airline Pilot, both national and international.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, who died in 1981, and a son, Terence Beucher, who died in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Charles L. Beucher, Jr. of San Francisco, Calif.; 2 daughters, Jacqueline Wade of Overland Park, Kan., and Patrice Eilts of Westwood, Kan.; a sister, Kay Sonnkalb of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Alan Beucher of Long Island, N.Y.; and 6 six grandchildren.
Inurnment is set for Postville at a later date.
