ALVIN ROBERT ENGELHARDT
Services for Alvin Robert Engelhardt were held Saturday, Feb. 27, 1982 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Monona, with Pastor Harold O. Ward officiating.
Engelhardt died Feb. 25, 1982 at Community Memorial Hospital, Postville, at the age of 75.
He was born August 26, 1906 at St. Olaf to John and Reka Draves Engelhardt, and was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church, Farmersburg.
He attended school in St. Olaf and Monona, and farmed near Monona all his life.
Engelhardt married Sylvia Rickert November 24, 1938, and they had two daughters.
Engelhardt was a Sunday school teacher and assistant superintendent for 50 years and was active in the Lutheran Brotherhood.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers in infancy, and a brother, Philmon. Surviving him are his wife, his two daughters, Fedora Engelhardt of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Richard (Esther) Wonderlich of Mt. Pleasant, two grandchildren, a brother, Harvey, of Monona, and nieces and nephews.
