GAYLE ANNETTE LENTH

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 21, in St. John's Lutheran church in Farmersburg for Gayle Annette Lenth, who died in Cedar Rapids. The Rev. David Hock officiated.

Gayle Annette Lenth, daughter of Harold W. and Helen M. Landt Lenth, was born in Postville, Iowa, November 14, 1942. She was baptized December 13, 1942 by the Rev. H. M. Adix and confirmed March 25, 1956 by Rev. R. Steege.

Miss Lenth graduated from M. F. L. Community school in Monona in 1959 and attended Wartburg College, Waverly, for two years.

During high school she was active in Luther League at St. John's Lutheran church, where she remained a member although she attended services at First Lutheran church in Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by her parents and one brother Jim, currently serving in Vietnam.

Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Postville Herald newspaper, hand dated 1971, from my mother's obituary collection.
