MRS. LEROY (Gladys Schneider) LENTH

Funeral services were held for Gladys L. Lenth, 85, of Parkview Terrace Nursing home, Platteville, Wis., formerly of Elkader, Friday, April 24, 1992, at Mergen-Ball Funeral Home, Platteville, Wis. Rev. Kay Welch officiated with burial in Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Hawkinson, Tomothy Lenth, Jason Hawkinson, William Lenth, Bruce Lenth and Terry Pluemer.

Gladys Lenth was born March 16, 1907, in Elkader the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Peake) Schneider. On November 22, 1927, she married Leroy Lenth in Elkader. He died in 1981. She was a member of United Methodist church in Platteville. Gladys Lenth died Tuesday, April 21, 1992, at the nursing home.

Survivors include two sons, Keith Lenth of Platteville, Wis., and Edward Lenth of Wheeling, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother Melvin Schneider of Cedar Rapids; and a sister Clara Dorband of Richmond, Calif.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Foll.
