DRUMMOND, LAWRENCE, AUSTIN

After an illness of three months' duration, Mrs. Julia S. Drummond, 522 State street, died at her home at 10:15 o'clock last evening. Mrs. Drummond was 57 years old, and she was born at Sheboygan Falls, Wis., on December 16, 1854. While she was still young she moved to McGregor, Iowa, where she resided until her marriage to David Drummond on February 3, 1873. After her marriage she came to La Crosse, where she has lived since.

Mrs. Drummond was a member of Christ Episcopal church and has a large circle of friends who mourn her loss. She is survived by her husband, David Drummond, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Lawrence of Racine and Miss Mary Drummond of La Crosse, two sons, Prentiss Drummond of Brownsdale, Minn., and Paul Drummond of La Crosse, and one sister, Mrs. M.S. Austin of La Crosse.
