His wife preceded him in death on September 10, 1913, aged 66 years, 5 months and 26 days.

Of late years Mr. Moser had been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Gerhard Leliefeld at Springdale, Wash. and was an ambitious man during his entire life.

He was a G.A.R. Veteran and a kind and loving father and friend, and will be remembered by many of the older residents of Guttenberg.

His death is deeply mourned by one son, John Moser of Springdale, Wash.; seven daughters, Mrs. Gerhard Leliefeld, Mrs. Nick Franks, Mrs. Henry Leliefeld of Springdale, Wash. Mrs. Henry Schnieder of Guttenberg, Iowa; Mrs. Philip Snyder, Mrs. Lizzie Staack and Mrs. Vaughn Follett, of Spokane, Wash., a large number of grand and great grand children, besides many other relatives and friends.
