I am not related and have no further information, this is taken from an old scrapbook that belonged to Mrs. Clara (Jones) McCartney

EFFIE GERMANN

Mrs. Effie Germann, 63, wife of John Germann, 3304 Losey boulevard, passed away in a local hospital Tuesday afternoon. she was born in Monticello county, Ia., Sept. 22, 1879.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Joseph Nicks, Dubuque, Ia.; and one brother, Warren McCartney, Hannibal, Wis. Mrs. Germann was a member of the McKinley Relief corps.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the south chapel of the Sletten McKee company. The Rev. Homer Yinger will officiate and interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

Friends may call at the south chapel this evening from 7 to 9.
