A conscientious workman, he was employed for 18 years in the Guttenberg saw mill, and was for 40 years an employe in the button factory. He continued his work in the button factory until a year or so ago, when he retired.
Mr. Mohrhauser was a lifelong member of St. Mary's church, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Society.
Funeral services were held at 9 this morning in the church, with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery. The Rev. J.A. Dupont officiated.
His wife died July 4, 1899. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Fred Coleman of Dubuque, Mrs. Frank Rolfes of Waterloo and Miss Olive Mohrhauser of Guttenberg; one brother, John Mohrhauser of Danbury; and a sister, Sister M. Christina of St. Francis home, Dubuque.
