Mrs. Henry Nuehring
Guttenberg, Ia., --Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Nuehring, 84, were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in St. Paul's United Lutheran Church with the Rev. C. A. Jacobi, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in the City Cemetery.

Mrs. Nuehring died Tuesday a.m. at the home of her step-son, E. F. Nuehring, following a 5 week's illness.

As Fredericka Schecker, she was born December 1861 at Elkport. She was first married to August Nehls and to this union six children were born: William and August, both of Dubuque, Mrs. Maglane Bisbee of Spencer, Charles of Springfield, Mo., Henry of Birmingham, Ala. and Raymond of Rochester, Minn. Mr. Nehls died in 1910. Five years later Mrs. Nehls was married to Mr. Nuehring. For the past 18 months they have made their home here with his son.

Besides her husband and 6 children she is survived by 8 step-children, 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
