R.W. Foster, 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Foster, passed away last Thursday.

Roger Warren Foster was born May 4, 1923, and died February 21, 1935, aged 11 years, 9 months, and 17 days. His entire life was spent on the farm where he was born. He was baptized in the Methodist Episcopal Church of Pleasant Ridge. He attended the Public school where he reached the seventh grade, a faithful and industrious student, loved and respected by teachers and schoolmates. He was of a retiring disposition and spent a great deal of time personifying the beauties of nature. He was unusually rugged until smitten by the disease, which aggravated by measles resulted in his death.

He is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Foster, two sisters, Elizabeth of Chicago and Imogene at home, two brothers, Robert of the United States Navy and Calvin at home, one grandmother, Mrs. Amelia Kleinow, and aunts, uncles and cousins.

The pallbearers were six schoolmates; Wayne Ferguson, Edward McGill, Carrol Keener, Elmer Wagner, Dale Cheeseman and Byron Cheeseman.

Burial was made at Council Hill Cemetery. The funeral service was held under the direction of Mr. Carl Schultz of Monona at the Foster home, Rev. Stanley F. Kenderdine officiating. Those attending from a distance were: Mrs. Walter Garazin, Miss Elizabeth Foster and Mr. George Green, all of Chicago.
